Uwaah. I still have to figure out how to get to NY as cheap as possible. >< Where are you coming from? And feel free not to answer, I understand anonymity concerns I can help you figure out how to travel cheap. I do it all the time. I'm sure there are other people here who can help you figure it out, too. I, for one, am probably going to take the Amtrak into NYC. Although its probably cheaper to take Greyhound. Penn Station is only about 10 blocks from the Highline Ballroom.

I'm coming from Bristol. *sigh* Please forgive my ignorance if I get this wrong, but do you mean Bristol, Tennessee? That's the only Bristol I can think of.

The only other Bristol I know of is in England...maybe.
'Cause in Harry Potter Hagrid says that Harry fell asleep while they were flying over Bristol.

Ah! I knew I was wrong.
So... according to my awesome google maps skills, Bristol RI is about 3.5 hours driving time to NYC? Is there a train station for Amtrak near Bristol? Maybe the bus? I've heard flights are cheap into NYC, but then you also have to think about cab fare from the airport.

Let me see. I can get from Downton Bristol to Providence for free and I know there's a train station there.
